Crossroads Press is a small hybrid publisher of serious nonfiction, with a podcast (The Difficulty) about the choices that shape a creative life. Here are the right doors depending on what you came for.
Crossroads Press has three tiers (Editorial $1,500, Compile to Publish $3,500, Architected $5,500) and one pre-engagement Manuscript Assessment ($450). The discovery call is free. Fifteen minutes. No pressure. The pricing on the site is the pricing.
Book a discovery callTwenty minutes. Five questions you'll see in advance, plus a rapid-fire round at the end. Recorded on Descript, I handle the editing. Designed to be easy on your calendar and worth your time. Guest slots are by application — I read every one personally and reply within a week.
Apply to be a guestChad's interactive-fiction series for young readers (IF/THEN Books) is now hosted on his author site. The For Educators page over there covers bulk pricing, classroom resources, the Decision Tree and Teacher's Discussion Guide downloads, and author visit options. The format works especially well with reluctant readers in the 8 to 12 range.
For Educators pageFor ARC requests, interview asks, or coverage of any title under Crossroads Publishing Group, email directly. For Iris Blackwood and the Curse of Hemlock Island, ARCs are still on hand for qualified MG outlets, bookstagrammers, and librarians.
Email media inquiriesIf none of the doors above fit, the general email is the right path. Chad reads everything that comes in. Reply time varies week to week, but it does come.
